The Role
Behavior Technicians work directly with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills using play-based ABA therapy. You’ll help implement treatment plans created by a BCBA, collect session data, and support children in building independence in a safe, engaging environment.

Behavior Technician Job Description
As a Behavior Technician, you will work 1:1 with children in their homes, helping them develop language, play, social, and daily living skills through structured and fun teaching sessions.
You’ll follow treatment plans created by a BCBA, collect data, and communicate progress with supervisors to ensure the best outcomes for each child.
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED.
- Currently pursuing a degree in a related field such as education, psychology, nursing, or child development.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance.
- Experience working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, the elderly, or other vulnerable populations.
Responsibilities
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and families to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Deliver 1:1 play-based ABA sessions, collect accurate data, and communicate progress to your supervising BCBA.
