Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians: Job Description
Join BM Behavioral Center as a Program Supervisor and take a pivotal role in supervising registered behavior technicians. This position is crucial for ensuring effective implementation of behavioral therapy and educational programs.
Key Qualifications:
- Must be actively pursuing BCBA certification, enrolled in, or have completed an ABA Master’s program.
- Master’s degree in psychology, childhood development, childhood education, special education, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years related professional experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
- Proficient in ABA, assessments, and report writing.
- Ability to travel to and work in multiple program service areas; reliable transportation required, a valid driver’s license, and an acceptable driving record per NIAC standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, oversee, and enhance clinical programs.
- Supervise and train Behavior Technicians across various levels, fostering their confidence and authority necessary for effective practice.
- Provide clinical instruction and behavior reduction protocols based on ABA principles to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in home, community, school, and clinic settings.
- Collect data on programs, assist with parent training, and implement programs developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, tailored for each client.
- Produce each client’s clinical programs, reports, and other supervision documents accurately and completely, in compliance with contracted hours.
- Provide coverage for peers during absences and direct therapy to clients if necessary.
- Maintain professional, regular, and effective communication with client families and all colleagues (both administrative and clinical).
