Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians: Job Description

Join BM Behavioral Center as a Program Supervisor and take a pivotal role in supervising registered behavior technicians. This position is crucial for ensuring effective implementation of behavioral therapy and educational programs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Must be actively pursuing BCBA certification, enrolled in, or have completed an ABA Master’s program.
  • Master’s degree in psychology, childhood development, childhood education, special education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years related professional experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities in a multi-disciplinary team setting.
  • Proficient in ABA, assessments, and report writing.
  • Ability to travel to and work in multiple program service areas; reliable transportation required, a valid driver’s license, and an acceptable driving record per NIAC standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, oversee, and enhance clinical programs.
  • Supervise and train Behavior Technicians across various levels, fostering their confidence and authority necessary for effective practice.
  • Provide clinical instruction and behavior reduction protocols based on ABA principles to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in home, community, school, and clinic settings.
  • Collect data on programs, assist with parent training, and implement programs developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, tailored for each client.
  • Produce each client’s clinical programs, reports, and other supervision documents accurately and completely, in compliance with contracted hours.
  • Provide coverage for peers during absences and direct therapy to clients if necessary.
  • Maintain professional, regular, and effective communication with client families and all colleagues (both administrative and clinical).
